Seleckher is renowned for her unique, thought provoking and eclectic themed shows. Using music as a universal language to move people, she paints an evocative picture using pre digital soul, funk, reggae and jazz as her canvas
Seleckher’s passion for music began as a young girl, inspired by the music she was exposed to at home. Her interest in rare soul further developed through attending Northern soul events at local youth clubs, then travelling about to Jazz Funk and Soul all dayers. As well as DJ-ing and performing (as a member of all female Nyabinghi group DrumHer), music and dance has always been a part of working life for Seleckher. Seleckher graced the airwaves on Venture fm with her ‘Soul Wrap’ for nearly 5 years and warmly welcomes you to its latest iteration on Hale. London
